Graceful exit strategy? We can help.

On Saturday, March 3rd, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, CAC will host a Luncheon Seminar: “Final Details.” In this special seminar, we’ll help everyone answer the difficult but crucial questions and details that arise in response to our appointed departure from this life (Hebrews 9:27). “Morbid!” you may say? Not at all. It’s true wisdom and love to plan out as many details as possible, so that our loved ones are not left with unanswered questions and potential conflict. If such is allowed, the honor of our passing is greatly diminished. The Lord has laid it upon Pastor Haymon’s heart to provide our congregation a proactive approach to the transition from life to Life eternal–when “the earthly house of this tabernacle” is taken down like a tent. (2 Corinthians 5:1)

CAC will host this seminar along with our guest Ellis Family Services, who has courteously and perceptively managed several of our more recent funerals. You’ll be glad to meet the Ellis brothers, Kirk and Dave, who have made friends with several families in our congregation over the course of their professional services in the past few years.

At this seminar, we’ll address such topics as:

– Last Will or Five Wishes

– Burial Plans

– Estate Taxes and Gifts

– Church Service Particulars

– Certificates and Official Paperwork

– Choosing An Executor

– All these and more, plus your questions answered.

The Final Details seminar luncheon is free for all CAC friends and family.

Mark your calendars and make plans to attend!

Senior Pastor Don Haymon II began his journey as a minister when he was raised in the home of the founder of Calvary Apostolic Church—his father. In 1986 he concluded a four-year internship under his father as associate pastor. It was at that time that he received his ordination certificate as a minister of the gospel. He married LaRonda Ellard, in 1992. He earned a bachelor of arts in Communication from the University of Denver the same year. In 1997, Don became senior pastor. In 2013 he graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership from Hope International University. Today, he is the passionate shepherd of Calvary Apostolic Church of Denver, guided by a compelling and true call of God. For those in his pastoral care, he seeks personal development and spiritual growth as a priority. His preaching and teaching has taken him around the world to at least 10 countries. Under his leadership, he has founded six churches in Burma. The challenge of communicating the Acts 2:38 gospel worldwide remains his heartbeat as well as the constant growth pattern of the local church in Denver. He and LaRonda are the parents of three grown children. They reside in Castle Rock, CO.
