CAC Friday Communique – September 21

Greetings, great saints, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our One True God! Trusting and praying that this communication finds you well.

As of the time of this writing, my wife’s 89-year-old grandfather, Rev. Tom Marshall, is still on the threshold between life and Life eternal. Thank you for your continued prayers for the family.

Please hold Bro. Jack Carter up in prayer as he has required a visit to the emergency room. He and his precious wife and family continue to depend upon their CAC family for plenty of prayer cover.

What a privilege to have firm reliance upon divine providence! Our God is truly an awesome God.

From the logistics department, our Youth Group is needing an additional couple to join the Ben Mitchell’s in directing a “Fall Ball” on the evening of Friday, October 26th.

Also, if any family or individuals who would like to volunteer, we’re looking for leadership in helping the church host a 2012 “Trunk Or Treat” on Wednesday, October 31st, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. As you know, it’s a tremendous opportunity to draw neighbors into our circle of friendship!

The CAC Sanctuary Choir, Ensemble, and musicians will be augmented, inspired, and blessed as Bro. Mark Yandris (Sacramento, CA), hosts his famous “Singing Boot Camp” the second and third weeks of December.

The Lord being our Helper, we’ll reach new heights in worship and anointing just in time to ring in 2013!

How about it CAC? Let’s proceed boldly and assuredly into the Holy of Holies in our corporate and personal worship and devotion. God’s Spirit is moving!! As we lift Jesus up by our reflection of His righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost, He will do the drawing of “all men” unto Him!

Can hardly wait to gather with you Sunday morning to unleash our high praises to Him!

Bring a guest! The CAC PRIME group (middle-age couples, 37-64), will be served a delicious lunch immediately after the morning service.

Have a wonderful remainder of the week. May God shine His face upon us all as we walk before Him in the “clean” fear of the Lord. (See Psalm 19:9).

God bless and keep you and yours.

Senior Pastor Don Haymon II began his journey as a minister when he was raised in the home of the founder of Calvary Apostolic Church—his father. In 1986 he concluded a four-year internship under his father as associate pastor. It was at that time that he received his ordination certificate as a minister of the gospel. He married LaRonda Ellard, in 1992. He earned a bachelor of arts in Communication from the University of Denver the same year. In 1997, Don became senior pastor. In 2013 he graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership from Hope International University. Today, he is the passionate shepherd of Calvary Apostolic Church of Denver, guided by a compelling and true call of God. For those in his pastoral care, he seeks personal development and spiritual growth as a priority. His preaching and teaching has taken him around the world to at least 10 countries. Under his leadership, he has founded six churches in Burma. The challenge of communicating the Acts 2:38 gospel worldwide remains his heartbeat as well as the constant growth pattern of the local church in Denver. He and LaRonda are the parents of three grown children. They reside in Castle Rock, CO.
