Making the Most of Yandris’ Rehearsals! (CAC Choir & Music)

Praise the Lord, CAC Choir, Ensemble, and all Music Ministry participants,

What a powerful and blessed season we’re enjoying with the worship leadership of Bro. Mark Yandris!

I have approved hired childcare for music practices for the next two Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

We will have a sitter in the nursery for infants through age four and a sitter in the YO center for five and up.

Please note: I am requesting that there be no children in the sanctuary during practices or wandering around the church unattended.

We estimate the cost for this to be about $330.00. There will be a donation jar available at practice; if you can help with this expense it will be greatly appreciated.

(In the future we are discussing plans for a small monthly “choir dues” that would cover the cost of childcare for all practices.)

This helps ensure that the time will be spent more productively as well as better care/safety for our children.

Please allow me to take this time to clear up any confusion about Vocal Boot Camp/Choir Practice. Both tonight and tomorrow night are very important for every Choir member. These sessions will not be redundant, meaning they are BOTH essential. The first half of each will be vocal training and the second half will be rehearsal for the upcoming Christmas Services. I know this is taxing on everyone’s schedule during this busy holiday season, but God is rewarding our efforts!

The wind of God’s Spirit anointing is moving! Come to each practice and service with your spiritual “sails unfurled!” We’re looking for souls to be baptized in the water and the Spirit in numbers never before seen at CAC!

Thank you for your sacrifices and participation in the best facilitation of excellence in worshiping our One True God.

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily (“thoroughly, unto completion”), as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.” (Col. 3:23-24)

Senior Pastor Don Haymon II began his journey as a minister when he was raised in the home of the founder of Calvary Apostolic Church—his father. In 1986 he concluded a four-year internship under his father as associate pastor. It was at that time that he received his ordination certificate as a minister of the gospel. He married LaRonda Ellard, in 1992. He earned a bachelor of arts in Communication from the University of Denver the same year. In 1997, Don became senior pastor. In 2013 he graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership from Hope International University. Today, he is the passionate shepherd of Calvary Apostolic Church of Denver, guided by a compelling and true call of God. For those in his pastoral care, he seeks personal development and spiritual growth as a priority. His preaching and teaching has taken him around the world to at least 10 countries. Under his leadership, he has founded six churches in Burma. The challenge of communicating the Acts 2:38 gospel worldwide remains his heartbeat as well as the constant growth pattern of the local church in Denver. He and LaRonda are the parents of three grown children. They reside in Castle Rock, CO.
