Searching Catholics Crusade 2!

Greetings, in Jesus name! It is with great pleasure that I announce part two of our extraordinary crusade with former Catholic priest, Douglas Hanscomb, next weekend, November 22 and November 24!

We are planning a special classroom presentation on Friday p.m. 11/22/13, at 7:00 PM, in which Brother Hanscomb will teach a course called, “The First 20 Centuries of Christianity.” You will not want to miss the insightful way that he, with 45 years of personal research, traces the genuine apostolic movement from the very first outpouring in the Book of Acts until the present. Bro. Hanscomb will be our guest speaker in our regular service schedule on Sunday, 11/24/13. Now that we know what his ministry is like, now that we know his exuberant leadership in worship throughout his preaching, now that we know the effectiveness of his love for the lost, we can turn up the heat in our invitations! Those who missed the opportunity last weekend will have yet another! Let’s do our level best to encourage every contact possible to join us next weekend for Searching Catholics Crusade, Part Two!

An update on my health:

For those of you who have so graciously and thoughtfully expressed concern, sent your prayers, and made inquiry as to my welfare, here is the latest update:

Eye: I have a tiny basal cell carcinoma on my right lower eyelid. The procedure that they will do on my eye is called MOHs. It will be on December 11th in Aurora. The 12th I go to an ophthalmology plastic surgeon in Parker to have the surgery closed.

Reflux: The 5 biopsies on my lower esophagus showed 5% of abnormal cells, which is only very early stages of Barrett’s esophagus. I will have an ablation procedure done to burn those cells off 2-3 weeks before I have the TIF surgery for GERD. They will call today with dates, but will be before the end of the year, God willing! We know that he has it all in control!

Thank you for your continued prayers for Terry Holmes. His family is expecting test results shortly. By God’s grace, this is the beginning of a bright new day for God’s miracle mercies upon us all!

I can hardly wait to see my CAC family and all our guests this Sunday! The Lord bless your Friday in an extraordinary and splendid way. Thank you all for your dedication and service to our one true God: Jesus is His Name!

Shepherd love,

Pastor DEH2

Senior Pastor Don Haymon II began his journey as a minister when he was raised in the home of the founder of Calvary Apostolic Church—his father. In 1986 he concluded a four-year internship under his father as associate pastor. It was at that time that he received his ordination certificate as a minister of the gospel. He married LaRonda Ellard, in 1992. He earned a bachelor of arts in Communication from the University of Denver the same year. In 1997, Don became senior pastor. In 2013 he graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership from Hope International University. Today, he is the passionate shepherd of Calvary Apostolic Church of Denver, guided by a compelling and true call of God. For those in his pastoral care, he seeks personal development and spiritual growth as a priority. His preaching and teaching has taken him around the world to at least 10 countries. Under his leadership, he has founded six churches in Burma. The challenge of communicating the Acts 2:38 gospel worldwide remains his heartbeat as well as the constant growth pattern of the local church in Denver. He and LaRonda are the parents of three grown children. They reside in Castle Rock, CO.
