Farewell to 2013! (End of year CAC schedule)

Greetings, all you who are grateful for the coming of The Anointed One–Merry Christmas!

To ensure clarity with regard to events that are just around the corner, here is the CAC end-of-year schedule synopsis:

Christmas Eve, 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM is our Candlelight service.

Sunday, December 29, Fifth Sunday, we’ll have one service only at 10:00 AM. At that service we will have communion, the Lord’s Supper, for all of-age who are present.

Tuesday, December 31st, New Year’s Eve, we will have a regular midweek Worship & The Word service at 7:30 PM.

January 5, 2014, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening, will be regularly scheduled services. The big difference will be simultaneous footwashing services at the beginning of the evening service in the men’s and women’s prayer rooms. With God’s help, we will kick off the first Sunday night service of the New Year in the sanctuary following a wonderful upper room experience as we follow Jesus’ example–washing one-another’s feet.

These events are current and updated on our church master calendar.

May the Lord bless your week in a very special way, in Jesus’ precious Name!

May 2014 find us all tuned in to our surroundings, alert to every way we can possibly help God’s work at CAC as it “maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love” (Eph 4:16).

Senior Pastor Don Haymon II began his journey as a minister when he was raised in the home of the founder of Calvary Apostolic Church—his father. In 1986 he concluded a four-year internship under his father as associate pastor. It was at that time that he received his ordination certificate as a minister of the gospel. He married LaRonda Ellard, in 1992. He earned a bachelor of arts in Communication from the University of Denver the same year. In 1997, Don became senior pastor. In 2013 he graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership from Hope International University. Today, he is the passionate shepherd of Calvary Apostolic Church of Denver, guided by a compelling and true call of God. For those in his pastoral care, he seeks personal development and spiritual growth as a priority. His preaching and teaching has taken him around the world to at least 10 countries. Under his leadership, he has founded six churches in Burma. The challenge of communicating the Acts 2:38 gospel worldwide remains his heartbeat as well as the constant growth pattern of the local church in Denver. He and LaRonda are the parents of three grown children. They reside in Castle Rock, CO.
