Rev. Ellard’s Grand Entrance into Life

“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me…”

Rev. Wayne Ellard, an exemplary father-in-law, pastor, father, husband, grandpa, (and much, much more) has answered the high calling of God in Christ. He passed from life to LIFE at 7:00 this evening.

Friends and family, this Holy Ghost-filled man of God touched souls and blessed them until he drew his last breath! He opened his eyes to behold his Savior’s face at the last moment. Thank you for your prayers for my mother-in-law, my wife, and all the immediate family. Homegoing Celebration plans for Colorado and Mississippi to be announced shortly.

He is blessed now! Walking with Jesus. I know that is where he longed to be. My heart is saddened for the family but rejoicing for him.

Gracie and I were so saddened to get the notice of Br. Wayne passing. Of all the great men of God I’ve known in my life Br. Wayne was the most influential. Gracie and I both contribute our service to the Lord begin under the leadership of Br. Wayne. He was so unique in many ways, he has such a kind ,loving sprit that anyone in his presents could feel and know for sure that what they shared with him reached his hart and with the same love and compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ Br.Wayne’s response would be directed from our Lord. Our prayers are with the family especially Sister Gail. The hope we all have now is that one day we will all be together again and this time it will be forever.
Gracie and I plan on attending the services in Jackson and Greenville.
    God Bless,
    Donnie and Gracie Dismuke

    Sis. LaRonda,
This is Annette Moore from Greenville, MS. I’m sorry for your loss. We love Brother Ellard. Nobody will ever be able to fill his shoes. We live in Spring Hill, TN and didn’t get to go to the service in Greenville. You know, we prepare for leaving this world to go be with God but it leaves heavy hearts for the ones who are left on earth. But, time heals. You are so beautiful, you look like Sister Ellard. The first time I saw you in church (I guess it was when I started to church) you were about 3 or 4 years old and you were shouting across the front of the church. I can’t believe you are all grown up and have a family.
God Bless you and your family.
    Tim, Annette, and Andrew Moore
